The frame is manufactured from 19mm (3/4″) square, 12 ply laminated, Birch plywood and sheeted with a 3.2mm thick formaldehyde-free high-density tempered hardboard panel.
These panels are coated with a high quality white acrylic gesso using a 2 coat waterfall system for the optimum lightly toothed surface.
This acid-free archival surface will not separate from the panel but bonds perfectly. Cradled panels are ideal for the professional, amateur and student.
